  • Children's Voices: Exploring Interethnic Violence and Children's Rights in School Environment, funded by the European Commission, November 2011 to October 2012

  • QUING. Quality in gender Equality Policies, Integrated Project, funded by the European Commission, Austrian director and senior researcher, October 2006 to May 2011.

    This projects analyses the quality of gender equality and anti-discrimination policies in all EU countries plus Croatia and Turkey. The aim is to compare national policies with the European Union. The project's methodology is frame analysis and institutionalist approaches to gender equality policies.

  • Privatisierung öffentlicher Dienstleistungen, Gefühlsarbeit und Geschlecht. Das Beispiel der Post AG, Project submitted to Jubiläumsfonds of the Österreichische Nationalbank (Project Leader).

    This project analyses the process of the privatization of the Austrian Mail with respect to theories of subjectivation of labor and gouvernementalisation of the state. The focus is on the role of emotion and emotional labor in these processes, January 2009 to December 2010.

  • Governing difference – a challenge for new democracies in Central and Eastern European Countries, funded by the University of Vienna (Forschungsschwerpunktprojekt) co-ordinated together with Sieglinde Rosenberger, Elisabeth Holzleitner and Jürgen Wallner, December 1, 2006 to November 30, 2009.

    This project analysis gender equality policies and especially gender based violence in the process of transformation in Croatia, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Bosnia and Hercegovina. The aim is to compare these countries with respect to the implementation of EU law, to their histories of women's policies and to the role of civil society organisations.
