AcademiaNet clubs

Networks and friendships are helpful resources for women researchers. AcademiaNet encourages its members to team up in so-called AcademiaNet clubs. Members of the network organize informal meetings in their respective region. Clubs have been established in Austria, Belgium, Germany and Great Britain. "AcademiaNet has been transformed from virtual life into reality. This should be a starting point for a vivid intellectual exchange between great female scientists in the UK, and I am already looking forward to our next get together," wrote Christina Haubrich who initiated a club event in Cambridge in 2018.
If you're interested in a Club meeting, or in setting up a new AcademiaNet Club in your region, please contact Until further funding for club meetings can be secured, AcademiaNet is happy to offer administrative support to the clubs.
