Short CV/Education and training

  • Anita Göndör obtained her MD degree at Semmelweis University, Budapest, in 2001. She completed her PhD at Uppsala University on the epigenetic regulation of higher-order chromatin conformations and gene transcription. In 2012, she was awarded an assistant professor position at Karolinska Institutet, where her group explored the interplay between environmental factors, genetic background and the functional landscape of the 3D nuclear architecture in development and complex diseases. Currently, her research group is studying the potential role of altered 3D nuclear architecture in the development of complex diseases with perturbed circadian homeostasis.
