Selected projects

Published a critical edition of the manuscript "Mon Odyssée"

  • The French manuscript "Mon Odyssée. Bagatelle littéraire d'un créole de Saint Domingue" (Historic New Orleans Collection / New Orleans), one of the few extent literary texts on the Haitian Revolution (within the scope of trans-Atlantic migrations and post-revolutionary flight), has been published for the first time in an annotated edition that will be of benefit to researchers. This interdisciplinary editorial project, carried out in cooperation with the historian Prof. Jeremy Popkin (University of Kentucky), appeared in 2015 in the series "Collection Dix-huitième Siècle", which was published by the Société française d'étude du Dix Huitième Siècle (with funding from the University of Hannover and the University of Kentucky).

International conference:

  • Reshaping (g)local dynamics in the Caribbean. Relaciones y Desconexiones – Relations et Déconnections – Relations and Disconnections. 14th-17th October 2015 at the Royal Palace of Herrenhausen, with funding from the Volkswagen Foundation and organised by SoCaRe
