Short CV/Education and training

  • Teresa Zielinska (IEEE from 1995, Senior Member from 2005) received her M.Sc. degree in automatic control and Ph.D. degree in robotics from Warsaw University of Technology (WUT), Poland. In 1995 she obtained habilitation (D.Sc.) in biocybernerics from the Polish Academy of Sciences.

  • She is a full professor at the Faculty of Power and Aerospace Engineering, WUT. She was a vice-chair of the Polish Branch of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (since 2016), and the Secretary General of IFToMM (since 2011) -- International Federation for Promotion of Machines and Mechanism Systems.

  • She was a senior fellow at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) and visiting professor at Keio University (Japan), Shanghai Jiaotong Univesity (China), Griffith University (Australia), National University of Singapore (Singapore).

  • Prof. Zielinska is the author or co-author of over 300 publications and co-holder of 2 patents. She is serving as an expert and reviewer.
