Short CV/Education and training

  • I started my academic career by studying German, English, Philosophy and Educational Sciences and later specialized in English Linguistics.

  • I got my PhD from Bielefeld University after a year at UC Berkeley, worked in the Verbmobil project at the University of Hamburg, was assistant professor at the University of Bremen and then became first associate professor and then professor (with special responsibilities) for Language and Technology Interaction at the University of Southern Denmark.
