During 2008 Hedenborg worked for three weeks as a guest senior lecturer in University of Dar es Salam, Tanzania. In 2010 Hedenborg conducted research at the British Library, London. In 2011 Hedenborg spent 1 month as a guest lecturer at Griffith University, Australia, and has taught several times in Trondheim (NTNU) and at the Summer School for PhD students at Copenhagen University 2011, 2012, 2014. Hedenborg taught and supervised at the International Master of Sport Sciences in Pristina, Kosovo 2013-2014.
